K-Mart, Cracker Barrel are two more that actively encourage it. So far, we have never been refused when we asked. Even had the local police stop by to assure us that they would be looking out for us. We've not found any "free," unless you consider using Casino player-card points to be free. If you want full hook up you can stay for $14.00 a night or dry camp for free in an adjacent site. I was just told about this when I was checking prices for tires at Les Swab store in our area. And I think their is a casino right after you Redding California on the left side going south, and its a free place to park. Nice thing about these casino's are that they have good food and if you want to drop in a few coin's in the slots your more than welcome. Jon I have also stayed at some of the major truck stops and not that bad and kind of interesting just to walk around and look at the various rigs.
