Talking about deals, check out the 1978 FC that just hit the "Bill
Board" 68K original miles and an asking price of $19K. Of course it
has to be checked out as being as advertised but pictures certainly
look good. It's time for some one to pull the trigger on that one.

No misread, understood completely. Just a whacko in GA spinning it in the direction of the buyer. PPL would have to pay you to take it in order for it to be a deal.

1986 PT40 for sale cheap - dave diamond - 05-22-2008 00:12

I would be careful dealing with PPL. they are still advertising a
Barth motorhome as a 32' after i told them about 3 months ago that it
was a 30'. their salesman looked through their own files and found
that their appraiser had measured it to be 30' 6" but they still have
not corrected their ad.

they did correct the part about it being a 190 HP vs 240 HP
previously advertised. they tell me that the tag that gives the
model info for that unit has been removed and i think that was
purposefully done so it could be passed off as a the much more
expensive Regency model vs the breakaway model that it is.

After talking with them a couple of times, i decided not to even go
look at it because i could not trust anything they said about it plus
the price at that time was way out of line.

I think they went out of their way to let readers now this bus has
issues. It sounds like a great deal for someone who wants a cool
project. I want a classic bus to cut a slide into but fear that I
wont finsh once started. Saturday morning I plan on taking the last
5 strings of Christmass lights down off the house then I may just
give PPL a call.
