Driving on grass? - Ryan Wright - 05-18-2009 16:23 Thanks for the replies, folks. Darn - I was hoping it would "just work." I drive my Hummer over grass from time to time and never a problem, but the coach is several times the weight and I suppose that has to be considered. :-) Looks like I'm going with gravel, or perhaps this "Grasspave" stuff. -Ryan '86 PT-40 8V92 On Sun, May 17, 2009 at 10:16 PM, Ryan Wright > Has anyone driven a big coach over someone's lawn? Make My Day!" I don't think the Hummer driver realizes the physics of 48,000 lbs hitting him.... Driving on grass? - Ryan Wright - 05-19-2009 09:47 Most people don't understand the physics. I can't stand people in cars when I'm driving the coach. I had one moron pass me on a two-lane highway, then slam on his brakes to make a turn onto a farm road. I came within inches of slamming into the back of his pickup, air horns blaring and dishes smashing against one another in the kitchen cabinets. I can't imagine he would have lived through it, and I'd have had to deal with the inconvenience of buffing the scuff marks off my front bumper... Within an hour of purchasing the coach and beginning the long trip home from Texas, I quickly discovered why truck drivers have little patience for people in cars. They seem to think we're just as fast to stop and go as them. I just love the idiots who tailgate and honk because I'm not pulling away from a light, or heading down an on ramp, as fast as they'd like. I've got the pedal to the floor, pal, it only goes so fast... -Ryan '86 PT-40 8V92 On Tue, May 19, 2009 at 1:15 PM, Pete Masterson > > Yeah, when a Hummer cuts me off in traffic, I usually say "Oh yeah!
