FMCA /COACH NET ROAD SERVICE - Rob Robinson - 05-31-2010 05:48

A year ago I switched to Coach Net after getting a letter from Good Sam Road Service after three call outs in 18 months. This was a form letter warning me that GSRS was not a maintenance facility and that if my coach was not properly maintained my coverage could be revoked. The three call outs were all for flat tires due to punctures. Lack of maintenance was never in the mix. Their letter was a standard form letter which is generated automatically if you use their service 'too' often. I suspect all road service plans work this way. I'd use GSRS again without hesitation but have decided to give them a rest for a few years or a least until I get my Coach Net warning letter.

I want to make the following finding also:



Coach Net told me that the towing contractor should put your drive shaft back in before they leave the destination. This happened to me in Ohio and Coach Net paid the bill for the reconnect. I was taken care of with this exception on my last tow. by the way the tow hook up was more than two hours since my coach was so low. We ended up with jacking up the coach with the leveling jacks 2 times up to get the tow trucks correct Y carriers in the proper place because of their size. I certainly do not have any problems with Coach net or the towing company

A few years ago, my old 80Fc31 blew a tranny in remote west Texas. I had good
sam.....they paid the $1300 towing bill to Odessa.
