Door repairs - Pete Masterson - 06-14-2008 10:30 Let's hope it disengages when you lose air! I hate to think you'll have to 'air up' just to open the door! BB does seem to like to use air pressure for some of the strangest things ... but I guess they didn't come up with the air-lock device until the LXI models... The step well cover is air driven ... and there is one lucky CCW employee who managed to hit the 'close' switch as he was going down the steps. He was lucky in that the air was nearly depleted and it didn't extend with as much force as usual... Â but I think it must have smarted some. Made me realize the need to be careful if you're carrying bags or boxes up/down the steps to -not- hit that switch! Yep - that's the stuff. I can vouch for it. Works very well, quick and easy to install. I was amazed at the difference. Wind noise cut down dramatically. -Ryan |
