The Document Library->Owners Manuals->2003 M380 Data Book.pdf has a max turn angle of 54 deg.

The Document Library->Brochures and Ads->450LXi_brochures_specs.pdf also has a max turn angle of 54 deg.

My 18000 lb steer axle on SpongeBob has a max turn angle of 56 deg.

The M380 uses a Ross TRW model THP 90 21 to 1 ratio steering gear box.

Thanks David,
I guess I could have looked myself but I never thought it would be in the owners manual. It appears the wheel cut is not that severe.

No problem at all Chuck. I just like to show folks where the numbers came from to add a bit of credibility. I'd like to get some information on the TRW THP-90 power steering gear box; interestingly, the web seems to be scoured of all THP-90 documents or specs.

Just an FYI. Although I can't find a steer axle weight capacity spec for the TRW THP-90 steering gear box, I do see that at some point parts were available for a dual circuit option on the THP-90 allowing for an external power hydraulic assist cylinder similar to the implementation on my H3, as pointed out in post 7 of this thread. Of course hydraulic pump flow rates and pressures need to be up to the task. (Not to convey that this is the issue, but for folks who are interested this might be a lead worth following).
