I have a 2016 Powertech 8kw mounted on my semi/sleeper. There is a remote panel inside to start the gen. It has error on it that says “ no system comm” I’ve unplugged and reconnected the pigtails over and over to no avail. It goes through the reboot process but the error always comes up. I can’t start the unit from inside I have to go open the covers to start and shut it down. Help! Any ideas on the issue? I’m mechanically inclined but this has me stumped. Thank you

Sounds like the cable is bad. Have you tried checking continuity?

Not yet, when I have time I need to open the box on the gen set to see if I can tell where the hook up on that end. As I have no schematics (so secretive lol)
