Joe- those are replacable. There is a circuit board that goes south inside
the antenna, itself. Stephen Birtles has some of the rotational style
replacements and maybe have the newer types also. Ernie-83pt40 in Texas

If you have the original TV (Sharp) the cable/ant/? switch on the SET may
have been inadvertently moved. The switch is in the lower right hand corner on
our set.
