the ever controversial "DASH AIR" - fl_bluebird_1983 - 08-08-2005 15:35 I'm trying to fix the troublesome dash air. Does anyone know if BB still carries replacement parts for the roof condensor, or maybe a better cheaper source. I need one fan motor and two fan blades (what were they thinking using plastic fan blades). Has anyone replaced them with metal blades? Any part numbers would be a great help. Just got home from work. The shaft spins freely, but won't turn when power up, and makes squealing noise. I will take it apart to see how it looks. I could be wrong, maybe some can validate this. If you think someone may have converted to something else, (and there are lots of options out there, not just 134a), you probably have to go to an A/C shop, and pay them to test it.
