There are now several wanderlodge forums in existence, the one Bruce Morris has (a paying one), Ernie Ekbergs site(this one) and the one Jeff Miller alludes to. This site was started by Ernie Ekberg after some of us wanted a free site when Bruce took his site to a private status with only paid membership. We felt that information relative to keeping our Bluebirds running and safe should be free and open to everyone without regards to our individual "Bluebird Expertise", and without personal attacks or impuning of anyones integrity, and surely without charging a yearly fee to gain access to it. There are a few people however that do not wish to live by those standards but instead wish to be the sole authority as to who can belong and who can post, and who are recognized as "experts". I personally find this distasteful and totally uncalled for. Every member of this forum should feel that they can post a question or ask for help without feeling they will be either ridiculed, laughed at, or made to feel anything other then total exceptance. There will always be lapses to some of these rules but then nothing is perfect as we all know. Some of you may have received an invitiation to join another forum, the one Jeff Miller speaks of. I understand that process was selective and I guess you should feel honored that someone thought so much of you, as to ask you to join that group. But I see it as another effort entirely.........as under mining Ernie Ekbergs personal integrity and an effort to sabatoge his site. It was said that this other site is "more focused and better managed" and to me that is a big red light to actually mean that it will be ridgidly controlled. I hope that all of you will see that for what it really is and stay here with this forum and make it even better. Abraham Lincoln once said "You can fool some of the people some of the time, but you can never fool all of the people all of the time". I hope you see this latest effort as exactly that. We see things as they are not as someone wants us to believe. We have a good group of people here lets all stay and help each other and make this even better. thanks tom Warner 1982 FC35 Vernon Center,NY At 01:42 AM 9/3/2005 +0000, you wrote: >The Wanderlodge group with 2000 messages and about 277 posts in the >past week is owned by a group of knowledgable Wanderlodge owners >including Gary and myself and is the most active Wanderlodge group. >It was formed by people leaving this group for a more focused and >better managed format. ><http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/Wanderlodge/>http://autos.groups.yahoo.com\ /group/Wanderlodge/ > >This forum with 5000 messages is older but currently only running >around 100 posts/week, it is owned by Ernie Ekberg. > >- Jeff Miller >in Holland, MI ><http://www.wanderlodge.net>http://www.wanderlodge.net > > >--- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, "ronmarabito2002" > > > The Wanderlodge Forum with 5000 messages belongs to Ernie Ekberg >and > > the other forum with 2000 belongs to Gary McFarland. > > > > R.E.
