2005 M450 Excellent Price - Itchintogo - 03-01-2013 04:30

I see there is a 2005 M450 3 slides listed on Bird Connection for 197K. That is nearly 100K below one listed on a competitors website. And it has a third of the mileage as the other one at only 26K on it.

If your M450 minded now maybe your time. Give them a call and tell em you heard about it on WaGu.

I'm going to save somebody $2000 right off the bat, because the 450 is actually listed for $195k, not $197k!!

Look at that the savings have already started. Guess that is what happens when your tired can't sleep and get up and see something that makes your eyes bug out! Cool

That is a M450 Prototype. Looking at the interior, it is very different from a regular M450. Goodness knows how different the mechanicals may be. This is probably a one off coach.

Bay doors different-Listing shows true sine wave inverters- that is either in error or they were changed, otherwise same as the other LXi's -mechanically and interior( some options were available-- dining booth -- desk or couches. Note Kitchenaid Fridge and pantries, switches.
Subject to recall.

Totally agree with Ross. They could not change too much due to retooling and cost factors. Ross is a M450 expert even though most of us don't know his real story. Just little bits and pieces.

Axle weights indicate no surface problems. As a prototype BB was probably eager to fix as you go along. Buyer beware. Ask and ye shall find out.

Ross if you can start a thread and tell us your journey in a fair and equitable manner I would love to hear it. I am sure others would too.

Wagu is your vehicle for this story. I know you have liability you need to be concerned about but take the names out and tell us. I for one have been wondering for years.

PM me if there is a problem.

I will reply later (after Davids blessing). On the road now.
The journey is not very interesting to most and I have nothing to gain by expanding on Bluebirds fraud, deception, lack of engineering ,questionable ethics, and failure to honour warranties except to let those purchasing NEW Bluebird products (Yellow) know of the companies true colours.
A purchaser of any motorhome should PERSONALLY have the RV weighed for all three axles with full water, full fuel and then add 650 pounds to the front axle (4 passengers). Then consider the capacity.

For the 450, the front side to side will appear equal due to Bluebirds change in the Hadley system (which was not part of the official recall).
The generator change took 500 pounds from the right front and added it to the left rear. Not "Nearly 1000 pounds from the front axle" as Bluebird initially indicated.

Enough-- Here lies the problem-- TMI-- damaging to the original owners (and me as an owner).
