Am looking for some place to spend the nite(Tues) along I-10 between
La. line and Houston.Don't want to travel thru Houston at rush?(crawl)
hour. Don't know how much Rita messed the area up. If it's like this
area, every campground is filled. Shopping centers, rest areas, truck
stops, etc. are ok.
Dallas area is to far out of the way, but thanks to all in that
area for offering.
Plan on being at the Top of The Hill some time mid Wed. God
willing, the crick don't rise, and the BB Gods are kind.

Steve and Patti,

The Lone Star Birds have had two rallys at:
Houston Leisure RV Park
(800) 982-8285
(281) 426-3576
1601 S Main St
Highlands, TX 77562

It is on the east side of Houston, about 1.5 miles north of IH-10 on
Hwy 2100(?). Easy to get to, big rig friendly, good breakfast tacos
at Luna del Sol (a little hole in the wall on the north side of town
on your left).

See you at Top of the Hill for the LSB Holiday Happening.
