Yanmar Gen. Hard to Start, Etc. - Curt Sprenger - 11-26-2005 09:30

This thread is addressing the Yanmar gen. engine Hard to Start, Low RPM
at Start/Run, Rough Run issues.

I removed the four injector fuel lines this morning. Looking at the four
Guard Delay Valves on top of the fuel pump, fuel is standing in the
three forward valves. The REAR Guard Delay Valve does not show any fuel.
Keeping in mind that the REAR injector fuel line end must be cracked to
overcome the symptoms identified in the leading paragraph, I suspect
that the REAR Guard Delay Valve is bad; or the fuel pump has some
issues. Any experience or thoughts on this? All input is appreciated!
