1982 Perkins/Kohler Genset Wiring Diagram - William J. Morgan Jr. - 12-20-2005 23:36

Hey all,
Still working through problems both on the coach and legal left by
the wannabe buyers of my coach. Seems that their dealer was so
excited that he thought he was going to sell a $13K generator to
them, that he disconnected all the hoses and wiring between the
coach and control panel for the genset, and then left it. Now our
mechanic/electrician has the task of restoring the wiring to the
control box, before we can hook the new Stamford generator up.
Enough of the "news" for legal reasons.

Does anyone have an e-copy of the 1982 perkins/kohler wiring
diagram? I looked at the posted 1985 and it is different (Thank you
for that file though). I had one that someone had emailed to me a
couple of years ago, but that disappeared.

Thank you

I have a 1982 and have the diagrams. If you don't find some I will get them
to you after the holidays. They are large format and it might be best if I
had them copied at Kinko's and mailed them to you.

I would be interested in your experience installing the Stamford generator.
Mine won't clear the original engine mounts.

Just because you have a 1982 BB its possible that you each have a
different control box. The only way to tell is to get the numbers
off the inside of the box. Mine for instance has a A259972 controller
even though my Bluebook diagrams said I had A259400. Believe me its
confusing when you are rebuilding the control box and nothing works
out correctly.
