chassis heat/seasons greetings - Bob Benner - 12-25-2005 01:40 We had a similar experience with chassis heat in our 86PT40 after enjoying that same heat in our first bird, an 83FC. When we visited Ralph a few years ago now, he tracked it down to an area in one of the load centers in the middle of the bus on the street side. I worked for a while then went out again. Last year with the help of an electrical guru relative, we found that the wiring had not been crimped in the connection! We crimped, it worked, we've got heat in the winter. Perhaps you have an uncrimped connection as well. I hope all on the forum have wonderful Holidays. I read this forum almost every day and enjoy the knowledge of our collective brains and thank you all for your help. I hope the next year is filled with great trips and wonderful memories. We will be taking off from LI Jan 2 toward Slidell La. to help with a build for Humanity for a couple of weeks then on to Florida for the Southeast rally, visiting friends and keeping warm! Perhaps we will see some of you on the way. Is there going to be a Myrtle Beach Rally again this year? We enjoyed last year's so much. Again Happy Holidays and a great New Year, Bob on foggy Long Island Selardor, 86PT40 |
