motor aid fittings - fl_bluebird_1983 - 12-27-2005 14:19 Does anyone know where to get fittings for the heater hose. I'm trying to replace my water heater, and one of the fittings that splits the heater line (Motor Aid) broke, tried to braise it back together but 23 year old pipe doesn't like to go back together. It is a 1" y connector that reduces from 1" to 1/2" the 1/2" goes to the motor aid. Napa doesn't carry them, it think they are brass/bronze. They supplied the 1" od heater valves for our 1977 - at a price! If the part was used on a school bus (All American chassis) they may be your best source. Central States Bus Sales in Fenton, MO is one example: http://www.centralstatesbus.com I'm not certain of the url, it may be the links section of this website... Hope this helps.
