Toilet Odor - Continuing Saga - Curt Sprenger - 01-01-2006 13:59 TOILET ODOR...I'm following up with most all suggestions. Four days ago the TOILET ODOR was present. I have removed the vent caps and sealed the vent pipes at the roof. The pipes were partially sealed, about 1/2. I added 1/2 cup of ERA, can't hurt. The coach has been stationary the last three days and no TOILET ODOR, until this afternoon. Maybe I'm nuts, but what the heck...I used my Combustible Gas Detector and started through the bus. The only time it squealed was inside the toilet bowl, when pointed under the bowl top close to the water inlet holes. Maybe I have located the ODOR source, maybe not. Anyone know if the air/water sequence valve, the vacuum breaker valve, or the bleed off valve, could be the problem and causing the ODOR to come back through the toilet? Keep in mind that we have the Microphor Air Operated toilet. Tuesday I'll call Microphor and discuss this with them. -- Curt Sprenger 1987 PT38, Anaheim Hills, Calif. Curt, what was the conclusion of your conversation with Microphor? We are having a slight odor with our Microphor, also.
