OK Gang!
We are going to kick off the racing season at the Monster Mile at
Maxton, NC with a Bluebird Mini Rally. The dates will be March 30 to
April 2. this will coincide with the Hot Rod magazine Top Speed
Challenge. We did a similar rally last Memorial Day and 12 'Birds
showed up and the rest of you missed out on a good time, so make your
plans early for this one. Entry fee for the entire race event is
$5.00 for spectators and there is almost unlimited dry camping space
available on concrete.
Randy Dupree will be debuting a new 800+ horsepower Cadillac engine
that has been built and supplied by Richard Potter, of Cadillac
Performance in his Fiat streamliner, along with driver Luke Scanlon
they hope to set a new class record. Maybe if we coax him, Jack Jones
will show up with his record setting Corvette.
