Verizon air card continued - enow626@... - 03-04-2006 22:01 Joe, All ya gotta do is plug the card in the card slot and go - after installing the card software. In our case I bought an extended antenna which I've had to use maybe twice. One I remember is at Tony's RV service in Lexington, SC in his concrete block building in the boondocks. I plugged in the antenna extension and placed the antenna head outside the door and VOILA!!! Reception was fine!! Other time is in my computer room of my house again in a brick building. In this case I just stuck the exetension on the window pane and again VOILA!! The extended antenna costs I believe under $20. I often check transmission speed at _http://www.info-techs.com/speedtest500.html_ (http://www.info-techs.com/speedtest500.html) or I forgot the other site I use. I choose the Kyocera over a less expensive card specifically for that reason. It is small and can be overlooked. The adaptor on mine has a tiny connector. I love the Wanderlodges and would have jumped on one of them but with all the ones I found I would have had to remove a couch and have a desk custom built to fit in. I love this forum and learn an enormous amount from the comments.
