'85 PT40 purchase advice - mrkane1952 - 03-26-2006 09:05 I'm considering buying an '85 PT40 and would appreciate any advice (for example valuation, quirks, or favorite features.) It is the one listed on vintage birds in the 817 area code zone. Initial viewing was favorable, and I expect to make a test drive this week. I have been full-timing in a Lance truck camper for two years, but circmstances have changed, leading me to look for a full-size coach. My budget constrains me to non-slide "fiberglass" coaches from the early '90s, or a BB from the 1980's. However, I have no previous ownership experience of a coach. Thanks in advance for your suggestions. --M. R. Kane (future BB owner) '85 PT40 purchase advice - ernest EKBERG - 03-27-2006 07:38 Am 85 PT40 is a great coach. This one in particular has been very well maintained and has an upgraded interior. I would not be afraid to drive this coach anywhere.
