Swing out radiator - chunkymar - 03-28-2006 15:58 I have a 82 FC35 BB and want to install a swing out radiator. I live in southern Calif. Does anyone know of any place that will do the job and how much? I just lost a belt and what a job to replace without the swing out. Please help. Thanks Jim @ jhmarsh@... Swing out radiator - Curt Sprenger - 03-28-2006 16:10 Jim, What area of SO Cal do you live? I have lots of pictures of the 1974 Bird swing out radiator that I did. If you are handy you can do the job yourself. If you are close to Anaheim Hills I can perhaps assist. You have to add new transmission lines that are long enough to let the radiator swing out, fabricate a new lower radiator connection (or you can buy it from Holland motor homes in Michigan for about $65), install new lower and upper radiator hose long enough to let the radiator swing out and then bolt everything together. Its really not such a big job if you see it once and then copy it. tom warner 1982 FC35 1985 PT40 At 11:58 PM 3/28/2006, you wrote: >I have a 82 FC35 BB and want to install a swing out radiator.
