I got a 'do not shift' warning on my shifter screen. the test trans
light blinked and there was a buzzing sound. after 10 seconds the
light went out. I was in traffic doing 75 mph and unable to pull to a
stop. On the way to the Allison dealer the light came on again when I
hit a bump in the road. this time I was doing 25 mph and the trans was
way cool. The dealer called me today and said ther were no codes and
the old fluids and filter showed no warning signs. The tec told me
that the early computer allison trans will erase codes when the trans
is shifted into reverse. I asked the tec to drive the bus and try to
push a code. I will post the results.
