Dimensions of fresh water tank 1980 FC? - Mike Meister - 04-11-2006 07:14

I am looking at a new water tank for my 80FC33. Does anybody know the
dimensions of the tank? I hate to have to run to the storage unit and
pull the mattress of to measure the thing...

thanks

Mike,

It's not quite as easy as just pulling off the mattress, and wood cover. (If
it's like mine)

The tank also goes up under the fridge- in a strange wedge shape. I have the
98 gallon tank. I actually took pictures of mine today, before putting it
back together- I will post them in my pictures in the photo's section.

Wish I had got this e-mail last night; I could have measured it today for
you.

Mike I didn't see my reply so I'm emailing again. Pleasssssssssssssse measure
your available space. Birds can differ from one to the other off the same
assembly line. After measuring order yourself a Force 10 heater that will fit.
Check with Bruce Campbell who has been using his for a few months and Randy
who just installed one (price and quality). Mine has been working great for a
year providing enough hot water for a fifteen minute shower. In actual fact I
shower, shave, shampoo, brush my teeth and there is still water left over for
Sue.
