Dump Valves - olson_phil - 04-18-2005 07:40 I un-winterized my new (to me) Wanderlodge yesterday. When I went to dump the holding tanks, the black water valve opened easily, but it took me 20 minutes of yanking and kicking to get the grey valve open. Once open I repeatedly opened and closed it about 10 times hoping to loosen it up. About an hour later I tried to open it again and was able to get it open, but it was still very stiff. Is there anything that works to lubricate these valves? I don't want to have to struggle with these each time, but I also would prefer not to replace them. Good guy who won't lead you astray. They are attached with a unique fitting. Well, it's unique to me. I see a white ring at the connection point. How do I take these tubes off so I don't wreck them so I can put them back on? Thanks, Craig 91PT40 WPB, FL P.S. I have ordered a couple of new shocks for the front. I took off one side and when I pushed it in to adjust the tension, it pushed in so easy I decided to get new ones. No wonder the front had a bounce to it. Dump Valves - Jeff Miller - 06-08-2005 04:30 They are quick-connect, you push the collar down the plastic tube toward the fitting and the tubing should slide out. Be sure there is no burr and that the tubing is pushed straight back in or you could damage the O-ring inside the quick-connect fitting. - Jeff Miller --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, "casmith" > Hi All, > I need to remove the tubes to the valves to test the operation of the > dump switch. Dump Valves - randydupree - 06-08-2005 06:30 you push the white thing towards the cyl, while pulling the air line away for the cyl..you need to do this with no air pressure on the line. randydupree93wb ----- Original Message ----- From: casmith To: WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com Sent: Wednesday, June 08, 2005 12:26 PM Subject: [WanderlodgeForum] Dump valves Hi All, I need to remove the tubes to the valves to test the operation of the dump switch.
