update on generator and slide. - trautoranch - 07-27-2006 04:06 First, Thanks for the help and information. I check my jacks and they are working fine. The slide still doesn't work. I'am going to slide it out tonight after i remove the pin. I checked the battery on the generator and it is fine. The generator started this morning and ran for 30 min. and died. Will not even turn over again. All fluids are fine and the gauges are all reading ok. It is located under the step along with the pump that works both the jacks and the slide. When you call for the genny to slide out the valve routes the fluid to the jack that runs the genny out. When you want to run your jacks down the valve routes the fluid to the jacks. Not using these systems will cause the valve to stick. On mine I helped the genny in and out a couple of times and now it seems OK. I'm going to exercise them weekly now. This may not be your problem but I thought I would pass the info on.
