88 PT40 96" - Jack Question - hodakaguy - 05-31-2005 01:21

We recently purchased an 88 PT40 96". How far are the jacks suppose
to lift the coach. The jacks function on our coach but will extend
only slightly under load, not enough to level the coach. I tried to
level it using the manual controls with no better results. I checked
the jack reservoir and it has fluid in it. Any ideas?

My Uncles Saffari will lift the tires off the ground to change them,
will the Bluebirds do the same with propperly functioning jacks?
Thanks, Tom C.

Tom
My 1984 PT 40 will lift any one of the six wheel off the ground but I
often use a six by six piece of wood under the back ones toextend my
lift range, put in place before I let the air bags down.
