Engine codes - Pete Masterson - 10-25-2006 07:11 On our recent trip to Buellton for the Southwest Birds rally, I had an unexplained buzzer (that remained on for the final 45 minutes of our drive) with no dash lights. On the way home, I had the "check engine" light come on (with no buzzer). By the time I got the coach to the side of the road and stopped, the check engine light went out. In both cases, the gauges all were in the normal range, except that the oil pressure was at about 40 psi (normal is 50 to 70 according to the DD manual). The code on the Stop Engine Light now reads "25" (no codes) and there are several 'historic' codes reported on the Check Engine Light (most recent first): 61 Injector response time long 22 TPS Circuit low I suspect the following were generated when I experienced overheating in May before I had the radiator core replaced. 43 coolant level low 44 oil temperature high I suspect these were experienced before I purchased the coach: 32 sel short or open circuit 45 oil pressure low 44 oil temperature high 16 coolant level circuit high 31 (twice) Aux output short or open circuit (high side) 46 battery voltage low 13 coolant level circuit low I was suspecting that the oil pressure gauge or oil pressure sensor (or the circuits in between) might be giving problems. The oil pressure gauge tends to 'lock' at about 40 psi for long periods of time. Then will vibrate wildly over the upper 1/3 of the range on the guage. Does anyone have any thoughts on what the problem(s) might be? Pete Masterson aeonix1@... IE switch from inverter and Battery wait a little turn back on, make sure the horn is off, this should clear all codes...Memory. Hopefully you will just get "25" no codes. With injector time too long I found that one of the pins at the connector to my DDEC1 had pulled away. Jim Riordan WBLW XXV Stuart, Fl.
