Rediline - Larry - 11-27-2006 15:46

Hi all,
Another question???
The rediline in the bird is apparently not working, as I do not have an
icemaker, but I think there may have been one there before, as there is a
different colored panel in its place...
I tried the sugestions of the list when it came up previously... I tried
plugging something into the outlet with the engine running and got nothing...
What makes it work and is there a way to shut it off...
If it is off I need to know how to turn it on...
TIA

Keith if it were my coach I would just connect the wires within the
relay box together and eliminate the relay. There is absolutely no
reason to have it if you do not have a rediline so why waste the
money replacing it. One of the best upgrades you can install is a
charger/inverter such as a heart 2500 that will replace your chargers
and supply 120vac power to all of your receptacles and your microwave
inside the coach. When you do this you will want to install a
separate subpanel box to power the 4 circuits....microwave, bedroom,
kitchen and front room receptacles.

Thanks Tom. As it stands right now I'm not sure whether there is a
rediline or not. I'll look tonight. If it's there I would like to
make it work until I get around to the upgrade stage of this
process. Like nearly everything else this started as a simple
question, about the outlets not working... And look where it has led
us. How funny is that!

Thanks for your help and I'll start lookinginto the inverter
upgrade. I would love to get rid of the old battery boilers.
