Using BB Generator For Backup Power - Eric Johnson - 01-15-2007 12:32

Thanks for the great information on this subject. My original thought was to
trip the main
breakers to the house and use extension cords to feed power back into the house.
For this
storm, if we have a power problem, we'll move into the old bird. Going to
invest in the
hardware to do it right for the future. Shame to own a portable diesel
generator with a 265
gallon diesel tank and not be able to use it for an emergency.

Oh but you can, move the family into it if the
ice storms hits, nobody gets shocked.
