Using BB Generator For Backup Power - Eric Johnson - 01-15-2007 12:32 Thanks for the great information on this subject. My original thought was to trip the main breakers to the house and use extension cords to feed power back into the house. For this storm, if we have a power problem, we'll move into the old bird. Going to invest in the hardware to do it right for the future. Shame to own a portable diesel generator with a 265 gallon diesel tank and not be able to use it for an emergency.
