my bird is parked for the winter. I check the temperature every couple
of days I notice that my furnace kicks on. I have my gas shut off and
my thermostat off .. What makes the blower go on??

Joe- is your actual on/off switch below your thermostat switched to off? I have
to put my glasses on- crud- to see which way the switch is turned to. Just a
thought from a visually challenged- like over 50 guy- Ernie 83PT40 - you don't
want to be where I am~
