Howdy.
Getting ready for the summer, I need routine maintance done on the Bird.
Oil and filters changed, lube, check all fluids & belts & hoses etc.
maintenance on the Webasto heater.
Can anyone recommend a place in the San Antonio area where I can get
this work done? If not, how about some place in Texas where I can get
this work done? I have been burned too many times going to a place
picked at random.

Hello Jack,
I've used the Camping World on I=35 just North of New Braunfels for oil changes
and
grease jobs and they've done a good job while I wait on it and let me observe
and talk with
the mechanics while they work. I supply Cat filters and they supply the
Rotella. I wouldn't
trust them to do any "serious" engine maintenance, but fluid changes they can
do.
I check/adjust my own belts and other minor maintenance.
So far, I haven't located a place to do 3208 valve adjustments/injector tests
but would
sure be nice to have one nearby. I know Chet Geist in Austin has a shop he
likes.
