freshwater clear tubing - David Brady - 02-20-2007 12:48 Folks, I'm looking for a source for the house freshwater tubing used in our birds. The stuff in my BB appears to be a clear PVC with a braided reinforcement. It has a 3/4" inside diameter, but has very thick walls. I wasn't able to see a PSI spec, or any writing for that matter, on the hose. It seems to be a lot tougher than the similar 3/4" clear hose that West Marine sells. Thanks, David Brady '02 LXi, Smokey NC freshwater clear tubing - Terry Neal - 02-20-2007 12:51 Lowe's or Home Depot should have it David. It's reinforced PVC plumbing hose. Comes is various sizes. The good news is the less expensive types are potable and so listed on the spool. When fitting the hose I heat up the section in hotwater first Gregory O'Connor 94ptRomolandCa --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, David Brady wrote: > > Folks, > > Thanks for the replies, I'm a little disappointed though that the > answer was so simple (lol)! I'll definitely try heating before bending; the thick wall stuff can be a bit ornery.
