Installed air filter service indicator - davidkerryedwards - 02-17-2007 06:52

Installed a K&N filter minder today (P/N 85-2445) Very simple. Drill an 11/16
hole on the
clean air side of the intake,, before the turbo, push in the grommet, push in
the filter minder,
making sure there are no metal shavings left inside the intake. I think it will
be a very useful
device. My coach has an aftermarket turbo with an air filter in an awkard place
to remove
and look at. Now all I have to do is bend over and take a look at the gauge. I
tested it with a
vacuum cleaner and it is very sensitive.
It should avoid any problems like the one posted back in the fall about a
possibly clogged air
filter.
