Coolant Question - Keith Strehle - 04-11-2007 05:08 I drained what looked like about 12 to 14 gallons of the old GREEN coolant but didn't flush the system. I'm refilling the system with RED FLEETGUARD PRECHARGED coolant. I had already added two gallons of the RED stuff when I realized we're not supposed to mix different types of A/F. So? How important is it to flush all the GREEN stuff out of the system before adding the RED? Thanks... Keith 84FC35 Coolant Question - Tom Warner - 04-11-2007 05:15 Its not a problem. You can mix fleetguard with the green stuff. I ran into the same problem and decided to add Texaco heavy duty coolant and NAPA cool in the correct proportions just to make sure. tom At 01:08 PM 4/11/2007, you wrote: >"Keith Strehle" Coolant Question - Keith Strehle - 04-11-2007 06:36 Thanks Tom, I was hoping this wouldn't end up being $30 mistake. Now I can continue filling the system and I'll be that much closer to that Mexico trip! Keith 84FC35 --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, Tom Warner wrote: > > Its not a problem.
