Still Look'n - bubblerboy64 - 05-14-2007 05:03 Made a quick run to just north of Louisville over the weekend to check out a prospect. Turned out not to be my cup of tea but got to talk to some nice folks and learned a little more on the subject. The BB was a seventies 31ft which was mechanically pretty good but needed pretty much a full restoration (at least to make me happy) I looked at the coach and figured if I got it for nothing I'd still likely have too much to spend on it to get it right and be happy with it. I think the chassis and drive line were OK but pretty much everything else was pretty used. I still think I'd like the FC 31 but I am going to make an effort to do as most of you guys have suggested and that is to travel and investigate more of them. I have fooled around with one or two classic cars and I can certainly see now that BB's are the same. Much better to do the research and leg work and find what you want ready to go then to find a restoration project. So--- That's were it stands this week. Appreciate the help and all leads considered.
