Brad,

There is another squeak that comes to mind that might
be related to what you're hearing. The slide pins have
a habit of squeaking as the slide moves, ever so slightly,
against its inflated air seal. Extend the slide, and climb
up there to put a little axle grease on the female portion
of the slide pin on the side of the slide. This may be what
you are hearing.

Dave,
Thanks. Chatted w/Jesse re: wall movement. IF that's what it is (and I'll try
your suggestion tomorrow), he said pretty much what I expected. Anchoring the
walls from underneath is prohibitive, so a small brass or stainless "L" bracket
placed 1/8" off the floor can be screwed into the subfloor to stop the movement.
Jesse also tole me about the hidden breaker panel behind the doorbell where I
reset the breaker for the TV antenna. I think it was just stiff and pulling too
much power for the breaker. I have since lubed it into submission and the
breaker is holding up well.
Two more problems cropped up on this trip. The entry door is maladjusted,
sprung or something. It does not close properly although it can be locked when
pulled in tightly. It seems to be sagging. I think the paneling has to be
pulled to reach the hinge mechanism. The other disappointment..I think the
cooling unit on the four-door Norcold is going out. Freezer stayed at 15
degrees..Refer held up for a few days, but quit cooling on the way home.
Emptied everything, started the refer..it lit and burned properly. After an
hour, the freezer was cold, main box was not. I guess I'm in the market for a
new cooling unit. Seven years is kind of a short life for a cooling unit isn't
it? Brad Barton 00LXiDFW bbartonwx@...
