Iota Charger users - Scott Forman - 06-28-2007 11:50 If I want to install two Iota "smart" chargers, do I buy one with the IQ4 three-stage unit and one without, or must they both have it? Scott Forman 86 PT38 Memphis Iota Charger users - Terry Neal - 06-28-2007 15:09 Evening Scott, You only want one of the IOTAs to have the IQ4. You want to buy 1 with the "Smart Charger" wiring circuit & 1 without. I bought 2 of the 55 amp models on eBay for about $150 each. I then pulled one off the coach & put it in another motor home that I own (SOB type). I then needed to order another IQ4 to put into that IOTA charger so that it too would know that it's supposed to charge in 3 stages. Hope this make sense to you. The IQ4 plugs into both IOTAs and regulates each. Was told not to use separate smart chargers as they would compete with each other.
