salvage/fire on South Carolina title - Howard Roark - 05-07-2005 13:09 Anyone KNOW for sure how to get the title to a licensable or a "REBUILT" designation. Title is "Salvage/Fire" on a S. Carolina title! I wouln't want to get stuck with BAD TITLE. WE MUST be able to TITLE/LICENSE!!! However we do not mind doing the work it takes to rebuild the BB. Hey,I've built or rebuilt everything from 32 cars to a twin engine aircraft! salvage/fire on South Carolina title - George Lowry - 05-07-2005 13:42 I understand that there are some "non-title" states where you can register the vehicle and then move it to a "title" state, getting a clear title there. Not sure of the details any more and the situation may have changed. In some states, they only have a "Bill of sale" and in some others, they remove the vehicle from their records after so many years of non-operation/registration. Hope this helps, George Lowry '95 WBDA 4203 & GM 4106 (for sale) Spearfish, SD Howard Roark wrote: > Anyone KNOW for sure how to get the title to a licensable or > a "REBUILT" designation.
