Also make sure to get the proper type clamps for silicon hoses, don't stop at the local car parts house and buy those car clamps. I suggest in all cases they be stainless, and I would suggest a constant tension type clamp (Ideal stainless FlexGear HD or Gates Green Strip Constant Tension to name two). If the price of those is too high for any project, at a minimum use a lined band type stainless clamp, that way the band notches don't eat into the hose and cause an early failure. They gave a good price. Oh, the engine was rebuilt because the previous owner ran it out of oil/overheated. Runs fantastic now.
