I hate to post this, but if you get an email from "Hank Robb", with a
lot of 'garbage' in the subject line and the body of the email, delete
the email and do not open any attachment. It appears one of our
members, Hank Hannigan, got hacked at an internet cafe in the
Philippines or in Hawaii. Some one got his list of email addresses
and is sending a spam/virus message to his email address book. Many
of the forum members are on this list. Hank sends his apologies to
all affected members.

If you talk to him again, tell him that the most common scenario is that HIS
computer is the one doing the sending...

Lots of variants on the scenario, of course, but someone actually using a
hacked/acquired e-mail list probably ranks down around 0.000001% of the time.

Don Bradner, who receives in excess of 100 virus/trojan e-mails per day and
considers them ho-hum nuisances, mostly dealt with without human intervention.

Read this after getting the Robb email. Started to open the attachment,
but my Norton Antivirus said this wasn't a valid email address, so
deleted it.
