Flying J vs. VISA or Economic Power, for whom? - bumpersbird - 08-22-2007 04:27 If you got 10 % of all people who own, {Any Vehicle Type You Choose, or any group of people} Dispute their Credit Card bill for the fuel purchased that month. Would you think that the price of fuel would drop like ROCK? It Should! Just off the road, a group I was camped around last week heard that a group of people did just that and that is why Flying J took the hit. They bought fuel mostly at Flying J! They are alleged to be an ethnic group of truck drivers that is large enough to have an impact. You guessed it VISA was the card of choice. Hell, my dog Teddy can get a Visa card, yours can to! This is not a new idea, but an easy arm chair way to execute it. It's the American way. If this happened it's prof that it can work. Thank You, The enemy of my enemy is my???????????? Yea the gas companies are huge. Credit Card Companies are ENORMOUS analogy: Mini Cooper vs. BB PT42. Cut out their lunch money for a month and see what they do. I'd like to see that trickle down. With the price of fuel as high as it is, now would be a great time to do this, closing in on the end of summer driving season, perfect. All the financial institutions that lend $'S are real squeamish right now. I wouldn't take much to push them off their perch. I only know one other idea that would scare the tar right out of them. NATIONALISE IT Maybe one of the Candidates for Prez.
