Jury Duty Scam - krminyl@... - 10-02-2007 23:52 I just served on jury duty earlier this week. The jury coordinator mentioned this scam to all of us, telling us that prospective jurors are never called on the telephone, and they never ask for social security numbers. Identity theft can happen anywhere...be aware!! I raised my hand and asked if dismissal was a perk of a felony conviction? She said felons can't serve and thus are excused. I asked to be excused on felony grounds. She quickly responded that lying on your questioner is against the law. I asked, "Is it a felony." 5 days of jury service folowed GregoryO'Connor 94ptRomolandCa --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, krminyl@... wrote: > > I just served on jury duty earlier this week.
