Flooring Progress, Etc, - Curt Sprenger - 11-17-2007 16:54

A Big Thank You, to everyone responding to my flooring project! Very helpful
and appreciated!

As of this evening, bamboo floor is installed from the kitchen to the coach
front. The wood was glued to a thin pad (floating sort of). Plan is to
install the transitions and molding tomorrow, as well as reinstalling the
co-pilot seat. The floor material (wood) was one board short of three 30
sq. ft. cartons.

This project has me understanding why the doctor keeps telling me to do
stretches, walk, etc. I'm stiff, sore, back aches ...should have nothing to
do with my real age because I think young...right?

The dinette seats were reduced in width about 9" before the flooring
installation.

After Thanksgiving we will move forward to replace the sleeper couch and a
new couch to replace the captains chairs and the cabinet/table. Also, will
remove the original drapes and install night shades. Just need time to
get-er-all-done.

Okay so when you sell your coach you'll be looking to sell to a couple of
skinny a*%sses right????. Many of us would kill for nine extra inches.

Curt- if you wish to part with drapes and hardware, some folks may need
those items. I thank Frank Heeney for my bedroom drapes and hardware. Now, I can
sleep when the campground is "protecting" us with their huge bright lights~

We have a small campground in Hogansville, GA. The first thing we did when
we took it over was pull down every single street-light. Outdoor light is
provided by the moon and stars, and a bit of sky-glow from the nearby
towns.

Jack and Liz,
If you are going to dispose of the original drapes I would be interested.
