I feel like my tag axle is riding higher than it should, it it
controlled by the same height control valves as the ther axles?

There should be a separate air pressure control valve for the Tag. I
believe the ride height is controlled by the drive axle and the front
axle. The tag has a pressure reducing valve that determines how much
of the load it takes off the drive axle and adds to the tag/front. You
can increase/decrease the tag air pressure by adjusting the PR valve on
the cross member just in front of the transmission. If you don't get
enough pressure on tag, the front axle could run light and the drive
axle could run heavy. Also, in heavy braking, the tag can lock up if
the tire does not have enough down force keeping it in contact with the
road.

Of course, I typing all of this from memory (dangerous). I will check
my book later today to confirm my therories Smile
