Ice storms in Oklahoma - Ralph L. Fullenwider - 12-12-2007 03:43 Good morning everyone: Charolette and I have had several calls asking if we were ok or needed anything due to the ice storms in Oklahoma. We wish to thank all whom has called about our safety, and yes, we are doing fine. We had an ice build up in Duncan but were fortunate that when the next rain hit, the temps had risen so did not freeze. Right now, the roads are wet but no ice. However the 600,000 people in Oklahoma with out power start just North of us and goes from Oklahoma City (80 miles North of us) to Tulsa and up from there. I have not heard from Dave and Grace Hardy though, they are Birder's in Tulsa. Again, heart felt thank's to our friends. Jack and I have been concerned about you and Charolette. Very glad that y'all are doing OK. The temp here in Hondo, TX is about 43 degrees now and keeps falling. It is also raining. YUK!! It sure was nice to see you both up in Kerrville.
