Buying a newer Bird - birdshill123 - 02-27-2008 05:29 We are currently in the market for a wide body, maybe 95 to 98. I am looking at a few units and will soon decide when to see them in person. They are located in the southwest and I will be looking for someone to do a thorough inspection. I bought our last Bird using the Vintage Bird guide and did fine. But the systems in the newer units are more complex. Can anyone recommend a person to do this "survey" ? He is a broker for BBs and if he says it's OK, it's OK, and those he might have listed will be very competitively priced. I remember Wallace Craig recently posted that he has used Ralph's services several times and saved himself from some purchases (cost-wise) that were not right for his needs.
