Any re-cored a PT 8v92 radiator? - Scott Forman - 07-02-2008 13:38 What did it cost? ABout to have it done, mine is disintigrating. Scott Forman 86 PT38 Memphis Any re-cored a PT 8v92 radiator? - joepat50 - 07-02-2008 15:00 I had mine done in March, recore was ~$2k and then the R&R was another $500 or so. That puppy is very heavy and copper is sold by the pound so YMMV. Good luck, Joe --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, "Scott Forman" <scottforman75@...> wrote: > > What did it cost? In the expensive SF Bay Area, the labor to R&R the radiator ran nearly $3000. The core itself was $800. Since I have the DD Series 60, my labor and core may be quite different from a PT-38. Labor rates are high, here, as well. So, I'd consider this as a top-end estimate.
