HWH Levelling Jacks - Michael - 07-03-2008 03:14

When I purchased my 78FC35 one levelling jack was rebuilt, the pump was
rebuild, and the tank is empty. I see another jack that is oil soaked.
I noticed the manual said you could use a variety of oils here, SAE 5w,
10w or type A or B tranny oil. What is the best oil to use here?

Dextron automatic transmission fluid is the best product to use. HWH
has their own fluid. HWH recommends Dextron transmission fluid if
their fluid is not available. The charateristic that HWH desires in
the hydraulic fluid is a mimimal viscosity change with temperature.
