coolant leak - coreyg67 - 08-22-2008 09:38

hello all,

Just moved the bird after a week or so of inactivity, and have a new problem. I
noticed
the low coolant light was on, and the stop engine light was lit. After a walk
around the
bus, I found a steady stream of coolant flowing out of my water bay. I'm
assuming a line
for the aquahot has failed, but havent verified this. Can anyone shed some light
on
making repairs in this area? I'm due to be leaving town on Wednesday, so I'm
somewhat
in a rush to get it repaired. Thanks again as always!

Hi Corey:

First you need to indent where exactly the leak is, there is some lines
that are copper and some that are PEX, then you will know which line splice
to look for to do the repair, I am assuming it is a line, but there is a
good starting point. Or it could be as simple as tightening a connection,
but simple and Bluebird really don't belong in the same sentence.
