Is the alarmastat a BB-only item, or can I find one somewhere else?

The Alarmstat is manufactured by Medallion Instruments, previously
Horton, and is available through BB. I tried to purchase direct from
Medallion and no joy. I am out of town, but have the 195 and 190
degree PN at home.

Search products, alarmstat and you will find it.

Scott,

These are the BB part numbers.

190 degree-PN 1594951
195 degree-PN 1485820

I spoke with BB parts about Alarstats just last week when I was
inquirering about the hydraulic filters and fluids. They can get
them, in 2 to 3 weeks, Currently not in stock. I recall $165
something like that, but I'm not 100% sure. I don't think mine is Mfg
by Medalion, I think it has a Sauere or simular name on the spec
plate, still checking into it, I can't really get a good look at it
the Air Exchange Pipe is right against the Mfg's plate on the
Alarmstat
